9-1-1 Advisory Council
Legislative Sub-Committee Meetings
The 9-1-1 Advisory Council organized a Legislative Sub-Committee at the May 11, 2005 meeting in Helena. This Legislative Sub-Committee will work on potential legislation for the 2007 Montana Legislative session specific to wireless cost recovery and other statutory updates.

The Sub-Committee met before the Advisory Council meeting to outline areas to be researched before the 2007 Legislative session regarding wireless cost recovery and statutory updates. Before the next Sub-Committee meeting information will be gathered on the history of 9-1-1 legislation and how other states recover wireless costs. The next Sub-Committee meeting will be October 18, 2005, in the same location from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm.
